The public cloud refers to a type of cloud computing model in which cloud services and infrastructure are provided and managed by third-party service providers. These providers make resources, such as virtual machines, storage, and applications, available to the public over the internet.   In the public cloud, multiple organizations and users share the same infrastructure and resources, which are hosted and maintained by the cloud provider.
